Listen To Your Breath
Your breath reports how you actually are, more honestly than your face or your own idea about yourself. Nearly all breath techniques asks you to control it. This post does the opposite. It asks you to listen and communicate with it.
The Energy Stuck in Fight or Flight
What if the problem was never motivation?
What if it was the resistance that has you stalled? We look at what the resistance is protecting. The charge settles. The energy comes back. Then it goes where you actually want it to.
The Open Circuit: Something Is Feeding on Your Attention
A hard conversation gives you energy. An easy scroll drains it. Both take attention. So, what's the difference? Attention is a circuit. Some things return your energy while others just leak it.
The Permission Problem
Granting yourself authority over your own life is not a single decision. It is something you have to keep doing every moment of every day. Each time, an aspect of you will check whether this is allowed. Each time, you will have to be the one who says YES.

The Art of Connection Is the Art of Self-Connection
Why most adults feel disconnected from others in dating, marriage, work, friendship, or general life. And, why the standard solutions don't work. The problem is not between us. It's the absence of self-connection underneath.
What AI And App Cannot Give You
A March 2026 study gave 411 people the same mindfulness exercises but told half they were written by a human and half by an AI. The human group reported significantly stronger effects, even though the words were identical. Something other than the words is doing the work. The ancients always knew this; technique alone does not take a student all the way. What the AI and the app on your phone cannot give you is presence, lineage, and the energetic field a real teacher carries.

The Bridge You Didn’t Know You Were Already On
There is a moment in a long meditation when you start experiencing a warmth, a humming, sensation that has no obvious cause and name. What I want to suggest is that the thing you already feel is the same thing energy healing has been describing for centuries, and that your years on the cushion have built most of the bridge already.
Energy Healing Is More Than Reiki
Energy healing is more than Reiki. And energy healing is all about your experience. Read about various types of energy healing modalities, some you might already know like acupuncture and Ayurveda. Others, you might be interested to explore further.
What Works Is Not Another Practice
If you have been practice-shopping for years and meditation still feels like nothing is happening, the answer is probably not the next technique. Here is what is.
A person walks across a piece of land looking for water. They dig a hole one foot deep. No water. They walk to a different spot. They dig another hole one foot deep. No water. They walk to another spot. By the end of the day they have dug a hundred holes, each one foot deep, and they have no water.
The answer is to gain depth and create the right conditions so the water can start to seep in.
Lessons at 2AM
Someone was talking loudly on the sidewalk outside my bedroom. Just having a loud good bye conversation without realizing rest of the world is asleep.
My sleep broke. I was awake. And in that small window between sleep and full waking, I noticed something I want to describe carefully, because the noticing itself is the thing.
Mindfulness is the art of seeing, they say. This post is about that seeing.
After the Meditation Apps
Do you feel stalled after using a meditation app for a while? Something has stopped moving. The voice in your headphones is the same voice it was eighteen months ago. The ten-minute body scan is the ten-minute body scan.
Most people, at this point, blame themselves. They assume they are not practicing hard enough or long enough. The answer is usually different. The format has done what it can. There is much much more, and it is not in the app.

On Workplace Mindfulness
“We are not going to ask why you are stressed. We are going to give you tools to manage it." That is the workplace mindfulness contract in a nutshell many, not all, employers offer. The practice meets you. The conditions stay the same. Mindfulness became a solution for employees to keep working under stressful conditions without breaking. Ronald Puser, author of McMindfulness writes: Mindfulness was originally a path of liberation that included ethics, community, support, and a critique of the conditions producing suffering. Stripped of those, it becomes a technique for self-pacification. It teaches you to manage your stress without asking why you are stressed.

Meditation Can Also Have Potential Side Effects
For someone with a history of trauma, that instruction can have the opposite of its intended effect. Sustained attention turned inward, without preparation or support, can re-open what the nervous system has been carefully holding shut. Meditation practice is more powerful than the popular framing suggests, which means it requires more care and support than the popular way offers. This blog post explores these side effects and things you can do.
Life Is a Series of Thresholds
If you are in the middle of a transition right now and the advice everywhere is telling you to figure it out, get clarity, move forward quickly… You may be at the threshold, and the threshold is where the energy is most alive.
Your Frequency Runs Your Life
Every person carries a tone. It is not chosen consciously, but set by everything lived, across lifetimes. This tone is not what you think, say, or intend. It is what your being expects life to be.
And life, without judgment, returns exactly that.
This is resonance that simply describes why certain patterns repeat in life. Learn more in my book: Frequency Is Resonance: What Life Returns
The Water We All Live In
You don't have to be in a war zone to be carrying the weight of one.
Exhaustion that won't lift. Numbness you can't explain. Guilt for being okay.
This is what collective trauma looks like in an ordinary life, and why the conflict happening thousands of miles away is closer than you think.

Books For Guided Inner Work For Modern Life
Everyone says do your inner work, but there isn’t a manual for how to go in and what that inner work means.
I wrote these books from my lived experience to make inner work accessible for everyone without having to go to a retreat, hire a Guru, or go on an eat-pray-love tour around the world.
The premise of this body of work is: What if the thing you have been searching for was never missing?
Shift From Reaction to Reception
Most of us are exhausted by our own minds — reacting to every thought, feeling, and notification without pause. But what if the answer isn't more control? Discover how connecting with the stillness already inside you can shift you from compulsive reactivity to curious receptivity — and change the way you experience everything.
Real War Is Closer Than You Think
There are wars raging in the world. You've seen the images. You've felt the weight of it, even from thousands of miles away. But here's what nobody is talking about. That same war is happening inside you.
Mindfulness Pulse: March 2025
The five themes shaping how yoga, mindfulness, breathwork, and somatic practices are being talked about across news, business, and wellness media in the last 90-days. The clear take away is that the world is asking for regulated presence, not a facade of positivity, spirituality, or wellness.
